RAMS Analyses – Specifications – Certificates

Today, reliability, availability are becoming increasingly important in the industry, the subject RAMS in some projects. Thus safety, reliability, availability and maintenance have high priority.

In the production of sophisticated and high-quality machines, devices, systems and components. Depending on the design of the contract, a safety certificate from the manufacturer is required. This document is intended to show that the product fulfills the safety requirements.

In the case of reliability, availability, various methods are used to prove that the agreed availability is initially ensured in the theory. MTTF (mean time to failure) or MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) often occur in such analyzes.

Depending on how the contract is designed between the customer and the supplier, some of these features are made available to the customer; others such as lambda are only passed on with difficulty or not at all.

By means of methods such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA and other calculations, we support you in the RAMS Study.

FMEA / FMECA / FMEDA analysis and FMEA moderation

The FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) provides as a standardized method for the search for errors and their effects.

With the help of an FMEA facilitator, errors, errors and discoveries should be analyzed and evaluated during product development or process planning. This is often not the case in many projects! The earlier this analysis is carried out, costs for possible changes are kept small. Through a standardized approach, you can support the FMEA process to gain a better understanding of the product or process and thus make a decisive contribution to the reduction of the error sequence costs.

You do not need any knowledge of analytical methodology or experience, Maxdrey provides experienced engineers and FMEA experts according to DIN 25448, IEC 60812, VDA 4.2, HACCP and MIL-STD 1629.

Safety Case

The safety of a system is shown in the safety certificate and justified. It shows that a product meets the security requirements. The European standard DIN EN 50129 is often used for safety checks.

Although this standard is for safety-relevant electronic systems for railway signaling systems, your recommendations and procedures are also very well accepted and acknowledged in other areas.

Our services

    1. Analysis of existing documents and processes
    2. Elaboration of required proof documents and determination of the detection depth (including SIL level assignment)
    3. Prepare documentation for your safety records
    4. Creation of certifiable safety certificates (according to DIN EN 50129)
    5. Analysis of evidence requirements and existing documents and organization of business processes
    6. Elaboration of a process for cost-effective verification creation
    7. Creation of security manuals, checklists and Office document templates
    8. Requirements management and development of tailor-made software tools
    9. Employee and management training

Fault tree analysis

FTA – Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) will be used as a qualitative or quantitative method for evaluating complex systems and error events by occurrence probabilities and reliability and availability characteristics.

The error tree shows you the causal and logical relationships of error events in graphical form.

Our services

    1. Proof of the reliability / safety and availability of technical systems, taking into account accidental external influences and the conditions of operation and maintenance
    2. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of structured systems
    3. Detecting weak points
    4. System evaluation during the development phase
    5. Step-by-step system design from reliability vision to meet the requirements (installation of redundancies, change of reliability properties and inspection intervals …)
    6. Standard compliant analysis (DIN 25424 / IEC 61025 / IEC 61078)

Reliability, availability, maintainability and safety analyses for regulated systems.
